At Hardy Footwear, we stand behind our products just like we stand in them – with complete confidence. If your purchase doesn’t meet your expectations, our straightforward returns process will get you back on your feet.

Our Return Promise

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. All returned items must be:

  • In new, unworn condition (free of scuffs, dirt, or signs of wear)
  • In the original packaging with all tags attached
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Non-Returnable Items

For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Custom or special order work boots (made to your specifications)
  • Items marked as “Final Sale”
  • Products without original packaging or showing signs of wear

How to Return or Exchange

Step 1: Submit Your Request

Email our customer service team at [email protected] with the following information:

Subject: Return/Exchange Request – Order #[Your Order Number] Dear Hardy Footwear Team, I would like to request a [return/exchange] for my recent order #[Your Order Number]. Details: – Product Name: [Product Name] – Size: [Size] – Reason for Return: [Reason] – Preferred Resolution: [Refund/Exchange for (specify size or product)] I confirm the item is unworn, in original packaging with all tags attached. Please provide return instructions at your earliest convenience. Best regards, [Your Full Name] [Your Contact Information]

Step 2: Receive Authorization

Within 1-2 business days, we’ll email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions.

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Package the item securely with the RMA number clearly visible on the outside of the package. Ship to:

Note: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Processing Time: 3-5 business days after receipt
  • Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Timing:
    • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days after processing
    • PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing

You’ll receive email confirmation when your refund is processed.

Exchanges

For size exchanges:

  1. Follow the standard return process above
  2. In your request email, specify the new size needed
  3. We’ll ship the replacement item once we receive your return

For exchanges to a different style, you’ll be responsible for any price difference.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product:

  • Contact us within 3 days of delivery
  • Include photos of the damage/defect
  • We’ll cover return shipping and expedite your replacement
